How do you find a domain name under private registry?

I am attempting to provide an offer for a domain name but I cannot find the owner of the domain name. I know owners use the Private Registry as a means to avoid being contacted. But, there has to be a way to find the owner.

Any help would be appreciated.

some private whois email addresses are still email-able and if they like your offer they will reply.

These are worth a try if the owner's who is was public before:
Domaintools Whois history
Whoisology

If the methods above don't work, look at the nameservers, and the registrar, and search for the domain in the registrar's marketplace.

Just send mail to that privacy mail. It will magically reaches the domain holder. Do not worry about that.

DomainIQ also has the Whois History. Go back far enough and you sometimes get the email address.

I have sent an inquiry email to the 'privacy email address' and the owner responded to me. So it does work.

Ssend via privacy offer above $100K of course if you have such budget. Owner will reply.
If you have less budget, just forget;)
