domain Financial based .coms

I bought a number of finance based .coms with a view to running them up as affiliate/traffic sites, but time being what it is, never managed to squeeze that project in.

So, I think a better choice for me at this moment is to clear them out, so I don't have to worry about not getting them the attention they desire.

They are all just domain names, no traffic or site associated with them at least for the last 12 months.

Some of them (the visa ones) have widely differencing values online, from a few hundred to $6k+

I look forward to your guided and knowledgeable opinions on my first clear out.

Ouch, those Visa ones could definitely bite you on the Bum...You do have a basic understanding of Trademark law ?? I hope, though think probably not.

Maryland lottery is equally protected - shortening it to lotto wont help

@BaileyUK I have no tradmark law knowledge and looking around and testing the waters at sedo, they didn't like the visascard.com, but weirdly seemed happy with the other one.

TBH, they were brought on a bit of a whim, whilst I was grabbing something else and was one of those "they are interesting domains, i'll take a punt on them" purchases.

Your not going to make any money on trademark protected wording, particularly ones with world wide recognition. full-stop.

What else would somebody want them for. Study-up on trademark law. before somebody else gives you the Rough lesson 1.

You now have history regarding Visacard domains, not a clever entry point in domaining

Well nobody looking for a financial domain is going to buy them, trust me.

loan24x7 may find a buyer. Just spend some time understanding why we have Trademark protection and how it works
