Finally Developed a .pro

Well I finally developed a .pro domain. The site isn't much to look at, but the content fits the topic perfectly. If you get a chance take a look at rewards.pro and let me know what you think.

I had a lot of trouble trying to develop parts.pro, it's tough to get in that industry without actually going to junk yards and talking to owners 1 on 1. Maybe I should move on to Scuba or Ethanol now.

Has anyone else developed a .pro yet? I'll exchange links with you.

Thanks in advance for any feedback...

Ben

Good skills Ben42! Developing is 100 times tougher than domaining and always good to see. It always makes me smile when domainers say "back in the development bag" when they can't sell something because it's only a small minority of domainer who could even begin to develop a site. Rewards.pro isn't half bad.

Looks good :tu: The only thing I can suggest is instead of having just "Gas Rewards" on the page at the top in text you could change it to "Gas Rewards Credit Cards" like you have in the page title. Same for all the pages.

Just to get those great keywords in !

JMO :) Nice Job

Very nice work Ben, time to make some money for the holidays! :)

Any comments on the affiliate program? All developers like to hear about this stuff. How did you choose cardoffers.com? What were the tradeoffs you had to consider? Are you using them for other sites?

As far as other developed sites go, the best place to look is Bob's motion.pro. He's pretty good at keeping up with the list. http://motion.pro

I've used cardoffers for other sites and been with them over a year. They always pay on time, they have great tools, and if you need to talk to someone they are there for you.

It'll take time to build up traffic, but once it does these sites can be quite profitable. Add the keyword rewards and I'm sure I'll be at the top in google search in no time for people looking for rewards credit cards. lol I have to be on my game now that I am the Rewards Pro!

Thanks for the motion.pro link, what a cool site! I spent 30 minutes just checking out all the registered .pro names. Most were rather amazing! Great looking site too, it's good to know this is out there. :)

I'm also developing for one of my .pro domains.

I'll post it here when it's done. It's going to be a pretty involved AJAX app, and not related to financial services, but I hope it to do well, and stand as another testimony to the viability and intrigue of the .pro TLD.

Ben,

More so than in any other tld, each stakeholder enjoys an opportunity to shape the future of the .Pro extension. My sincere thanks to you, and to all others who have chosen to develop their domains. BTW- I remain convinced that riches will follow in the wake of your eventual actualization of Parts.pro. I would not hesitate to seek out the counsel of others, paid or otherwise, and/or partner, as appropriate, in order to take that project to the next level and beyond. Thanks again, and all the best.... :)
