Well seeing as its the plural I guess it could be used as a Directory of Film Shops on the web, no idea what it could be worth sorry... but I cant see a reseller paying big bucks for it. If only it didnt have that "s" on the end, darn.

This is my arguement everyone is saying no s but when I type in a search engine I would add an s to filmshops I would not type filmshop

Well, FilmShop is brandable where as FilmShops isnt... so to me the "s" hurts its value.

This is one of those cases where the singular version would be a little better because it's not a product, it's a place that sells products.

You have to think that even if you were in a search engine and type "pet stores" for instance, to get a list of pet stores, the website you clicked on would more than likely be a pet store, not pet stores. If that makes any sense.

BTW, film is going the way of the dinosaurs. This domain would have a short shelf life.

I think you hit the nail on the head really with "it is the reason this domain was available really" so really anything that is for "open" sale is worth shite
