Just purchased this one for the registration fee:

FilmFranchises.com

Genuinely thought it might be quite good? Any appraisals and insight would be much appreciated.

Don't see much value here, I can't imagine anything else living on it than a niche review site (of which there are so many and it would be difficult to rank).

To put a number to it, I would say reg fee to $100-200 if you find that enthusiast who wants to start a blog talking about film franchises.

Good luck!

Thank you for your insight and appraisal. Much appreciated!

Yeah I do tend to agree. I think I may have pulled the trigger a bit too quickly on this one. Hadn't thought about what kind of site would be there if the domain was developed. Something to note for the future.

What confused me was that Nameworth estimated the value at 4.4K (highest I've ever had on there) however Estibot was way more modest and more in line with your appraisal at $390. So thinking about it maybe $200 to $300 would be the accurate range? Nameworth had me believing it could be far more.

Any more appraisals? If anyone else could chime in it'd be appreciated.

Domain worth evaluators are just taking old sales and keywords and putting those 2 together..

You could of course sell it for 200$, if you find a buyer and advertise it a lot. Otherwise stick to a lower price.

If you scroll down after the appraisal, you will see your chance of sale is "18.2% in next 20 years". Not sure what we are supposed to do with that bizarre rating.

Thanks guys! Appreciate the insight and truly value your input.

Yeah I think this one might be on the lower end. I have other domains that are worth more in retrospect. Still learning and Namepros is an amazing place to do that, so thank you for helping me improve at this.

Would still appreciate more appraisals, but I'm thinking $100 to $200 to the right end user might be most accurate.

This gives a perspective on those in the industry that do not necessarily follow standard portfolio conversion rates as many of the rest of us do. This estimates the most ideal buyer in the most ideal situation. Rick Schwartz has sold only 35 domains in 20 years, and that was 35 out of his 6,500 domains. His conversion stats are close to this 18.2% statistic. To be as accurate as possible, the tool needs to include the top levels of domain sellers in the estimations, just as it includes the pricing levels of sellers who liquidate their domains.

As you can see below, some of Rick's published sales are extremely close to the NameWorth estimates.

Candy.com
Actual Sales Price: $3,000,000 plus royalties, plus 10% ownership.
GoDaddy Appraisals: More than $25,000 (that is as high as it goes)
NameWorth: $5,000,000

eScore.com
Actual Sales Price: $100,000
GoDaddy Appraisals: More than $14,879
NameWorth: $94,500

SydneyHotels.com
Actual Sales Price: $100,000
GoDaddy Appraisals: More than $9,792
NameWorth: $54,500 ("in-the-ballpark")

RoomDividers.com
Actual Sales Price: $75,000
GoDaddy Appraisals: More than $13,347
NameWorth: $74,500

eCruise.com
Actual Sales Price: $100,000 & Stock
GoDaddy Appraisals: More than $12,694
NameWorth: $94,500

While we were off by half on one estimate, we are still within the range of what we call "in-the-ballpark". What is "in-the-ballpark"? We consider a price "in-the-ballpark" when you can double it or half it and still come up with the sales price.
