Just regged Vehicle.ws
Ive never purchased a .ws extension before, but I thought this might be worth something. Any opinions on this domain name would be appreciated. Thanks

Low $$ unfortunately. .ws is like .us in this market...there are still numerous good .ws domains that many domainers find it hard to sell!

135k global monthly searches. Reseller is in the low to mid $$ range, Nice keyword but the plural would be much better in this extension. I have had low $$$ reseller offers on some strong keyword .ws, so there is hope.

As far as finding good .us keywords hard to sell, I'm not too sure about that one and don't agree.

.WS is nothing like .US. It is closer to .CC with limited reseller value and end user potential.

You can probably get Mid $XX for it.

I guess I was misunderstood by both of you. I am a supporter of .us. However, I am surprised at the reluctance of American businessowners to use .us for their company website. Unlike .ca, .co.uk and .de which are popular in their Canada, UK and Germany respectively. As a directory owner, I come across many site owners on a daily basis and I can tell that MANY webmasters and SEO still strongly believe that .us cannot be "ranked'; they advise their clients to go for .com domains and themselves believes since Google.us redirects to Google.com, it nearly impossible to have a .us rank on Google as opposed to .com. Pure ignorance of course. Jeff worked on Dropping.ca to expand .ca industry and at the moment, more than most of Canadian companies would go for a .ca domain...

I sincerely wish we could improve the market of .us domains...as I see a lack of buyers' interest in .us! I believe any extension can be ranked as long as the webmaster knows what he is going and is not talking any "fast and quick" step during link building. I got a few .us myself and love them!

The good news is that the trend is changing...many local companies here in Chicago (and I believe and hope elsewhere in the US too) have started using .us to build their site. If marketers took a firm step to learn things through...I am certain (and I hope) that .us market would get better in the days to come.
