How many times have you went out and bought a cd because you liked a couple songs by the group, artist, and the reason you buy it is because you think "well these songs are cool, so the rest of the cd has to be pretty good", but when you get it home and listen to it, it's crappy? I understand why people download instead of spending the money on the cd's just to be disappointed by some.
I honestly don't think that anything is going to come of lawsuits against anyone who downloads music off of the net, it would take waste too much of the courts time, because there are more criminal things going on in the real world than people sharing files on the internet. But who knows what will take place.

99cents! what a rip off! considering i could get a whole cd for 14.99 canadian which has sometimes 20+ songs... or hell.. i could even get the whole damn anthology off kazaa

ahhh okay so if they do bring on these lawsuits as they are saying, how do they plan on bringing suit against a minor, because if they do bring suit against a minor, how do they expect the minor to pay? You can't draw blood from a turnip.

They will probably file it against the parents and take the parents money.
