What is Favicon Generator?
Favicon Generator is a script that allows you to offer your users an easy way to create a favorites icon (favicon) for their site. Use the Demo tab above to take a look at a demo of the script.
What is a favicon?
A favicon (short for favorites icon), also known as a website icon, shortcut icon, url icon, or bookmark icon is an icon associated with a particular website or webpage.
Features, Requirements, etc
Favicon Generator basically will take a user uploaded image and generate a favicon for them. If the image has a transparent background, then the script tries to set the favicon's background to be transparent. You also have the ability to specify whether or not you want to use Google Adsense, or, just regular text links in the script's sidebar. More features will be coming soon, and feel free to make suggestions.
To run Favicon Generator on your server, you must be using PHP 5 and have file uploads enabled (it is configured in php.ini). Favicon Generator does not require any type of database

If you choose the without copyright option, that ONLY means the Powered by line, and you must provide the domain it is going to be installed on.
The copyright for the design MUST remain in place, if you want to remove the design copyright, you'll have to contact the designer.
