Fast $20 for quick help

Not sure exactly what just happened but the home page for stockPrices.net just got all messed up looking. From what I see the rest of the site looks okay.

If anyone is interested, The first person who can tell me what the problem is and exactly how to fix it will get $20 via paypal after it's looking normal again.

I don't know if it's something I did or what..

Please post and maybe send PM so I get the message quicker.

Looks like you either deleted your stylesheet or moved/renamed it.

style.css (all lower case) should be in the same directory as your home page (index.html). If you want to move it, you need to change the href attribute on the link tag to reflect the new location.

EDIT: Just noticed Averge got the answer before I PMed or posted...please send the $20 reward to him.

Your style sheet is in the correct place (same directory as your index.html) file and the link tag is completely correct, so that's not the issue. I've PMed you the solution, it's a really simple issue (missing the closing quotation mark on your meta tag.

<meta name="keywords" content="Stock Prices,financial Information,Investing,Investor,Market News,Stock Research,Stock Valuation,business news,economy,finance,investment tools,mortgage,mutual funds,personal finance,quote,quotes,stock market,retirement,stock,stocks,stock market quotes />

should be

<meta name="keywords" content="Stock Prices,financial Information,Investing,Investor,Market News,Stock Research,Stock Valuation,business news,economy,finance,investment tools,mortgage,mutual funds,personal finance,quote,quotes,stock market,retirement,stock,stocks,stock market quotes" />

Notice the bolded quotation mark, that is what you missed. Add that to the file, save, upload and you should be good to go!

Ok, here's the deal, I have to be fair. :tu: Thanks to everyone who helped. I am sooo releaved. This was a big issue because of the timing of the problem.

averge and Enlytend..... were the two first to reply in PM which I requested.

*Enlytend posted the correct answer but not in a way that I understood. But that's my fault for being html stupid.

*averge posted the same correct answer in a way I understood more.

I said I would only pay $20 but due to what I explained above here's what I would like to do if Enlytend and averge agree.

I would like to up the offer to $30 and pay each of you $15

Please let me know if this is agreeable with the 2 of you and PM your paypal email info to me.

To go more in detail, Here's what went on.

*From enlytend at 6:08: quote "On your index.html file your keywords meta - the string isn't terminated with a quote. That can mess up the browser interpretation of the page. Fix that and let me know."

To someone understanding html that might work.
