You're supposed to OWN the domains you ask for appraisals on, so to some that's a sticky point.
It's not dns registration either, it's OWNERSHIP info in whois and it shows where the dns is hosted, which can be easily changed, but if you don't control the whois or owner info, you can't technically ask for appraisals.
It's a novelty url, it has minor traffic and a lot of junk pages indexed, but as to value, I'd say
fakenews.com high xxx or low xxxx
.net is usually 10% to 20% of the .com
That's my appraisal, and I run several news sites.
If it was a legit 'news term' then it has way more value due to some news sites might want to pay well for a .net, but for a novelty url that is not real news, it has short term appeal.
Terms like the follbowing have huge value
BreakingNews.com/net
247news.com/net
TopicNews.com/net where topic is sports, finance, money, business, political, etc
So a real term you can create a portal around in com and even net
So that's my 'appraisal' and I don't care if you own it or not, but some here may.
