Hello everybody.
Id love to hear your opinion on SolarDisposal (com) - just read about few people trying to get in to solar panels as next e-waste business opportunity and thought this might be a great investment in this domain.

Also i own FakeApps (com) but there is FakeApp (com) website - FakeApp is a new browser for Mac OS X

Also what do you think about:
Urine Energy(com)
Pee Energy (com)

I can't believe that the energy market is in such desperate straits that you have to resort to regging silly domains like this. There is no potential here at all. Urine may well produce a kind of gas, ammonia I think, but no one would ever refer to this as urine energy!

Before posting silly comments go to google and see yourself that scientists have discovered how to make energy from urine and some countries already start doing it.

I forgot to mention that I only want to hear from professional domainers not from newbies. Thanks

I'm not a "newbie", however you are completely clueless... Good luck,

I'd disagree with these being valueless as far as UrineEnergy and SolarDisposal is concerned, but this all depends if you're a passive seller who is expecting offers or you're prepared to start contacting and putting them in front of the eyes of the right people.

The topic of "Urine Energy" isn't new though, I've read articles on this years ago, only recently it's been talked about again after some new studies so it could fade away for a couple more years, so it's not hot otherwise the domain wouldn't have been available for regfee.

But, I think you could get low $xxx from the right investor who thinks outside of the box if the domain is accompanied with a blog including articles on the topic and a directory of links to outside articles. Or possibly more if you are able to get contact info from people directly involved in the studies.

So it'll require legwork, not an easy sale. Not wholesale domains just yet.

G'luck.

So, in essence, you're saying that the domain could be worth low $xxx IF you include with the sale a whole heap of value, like a blog, articles, and directory... sooo things that are actually worth $xxx then?!...

Anyway, I agree with you. Including things that do have a value is, by far, the best way of making something that is valueless more valuable!

:)

All appraisals are of what a domain could be worth.

There is no guaranteed, set amount value of what something is worth for any domain name, at the end of the day all appraisals are speculation and/or comparisons to sales of similar domains, some appraisals are educated and informed speculation, while others are not.

A blog would have no value and do nothing more for this domain name than help convey the concept that this can possibly be something big time in the near future to an end user, in other words a sales pitch, not an active website. The buyer would likely not even request the wordpress or plain html page they read upon purchase.

If someone stared at a name "UrineEnergy.com" without knowing sh*t about it, they'll say WTF is that and call it silly all day.... yet if someone actually has references and links that there are legitimate studies going on for this and it's all accessible and in one spot and on the actual name that it for sale, then they may just realize it could be worth something. :)

It's no secret sauce or steps to selling a domain name, it's common sense and should be common practice for every domain sale. Custom pages > Sedo/DomainNameSales parked pages when you're contacting end users. No one mentioned anything about all-out, finely-tuned websites.

PeeEnergy dot com and UrineEnergy dot com was first registered 4 years ago even tho I hand registered them. If you check PeePower dot com and UrinePower dot come they were registered 8 and 12 years ago and still taken and PeePower has .com .net and .org extensions taken.
