I saw this for sale today, Whats the situation selling names like this and if you can sell how much would facebook.tv go for. Can you approach the facebook company?

My guess is it's a big tm issue. Facebook will most likely go after you. It's an exact match to their tm name. From what I've read here, you can be sued by Facebook and/or by the person you sell it to if a buyer is sued by Facebook.

No one will buy the name. Registering it for the sole purpose of selling it to the trademark owner is quite simply a waste of time.
