Reports surfaced today that Facebook may be blocking posts that encourage users to try out rival social network, Google+. A video was posted this morning by a Google employee pointing out something peculiar he noticed about how his friends’ news feeds would show his regular status updates but would exclude one’s with a link to Google+.

I trust Google about as much as Facebook.... so I'll go with CNET who were unable to duplicate the feat.

Looks like Facebook is a little scared if that news is true.

But I don't think Google+ will destroy Facebook. It doesn't have the mass appeal of Facebook.

If smarter people stay on Google+ and stupid people stay of Facebook that would be the best outcome.

I agree.

I'm envisioning a world in the not-too-distant future where Google+ is the new Facebook and Facebook is the new MySpace.

Just watch.

Google + is definitely a threat to Facebook and the later is doing something about because it doesn't want to be the next MySpace.

Google are always quick to point the finger at others however get very defensive when the finger is pointed at them.

Google have been censoring for a long time.
