Hey folks:

I've been wanting to make a webmaster resource site for quite a while now and I've finally got my crap together to get it done.
It's by no means complete or ready to launch; I need much more content (and to complete the content that's already there), but I'm wondering what you people think of the look, feel, and overall usability so far.

I would really appreciate some constructive criticism because I've only shared it with a few people so far.

I should note that I have done my absolute best to follow W3 Standards and Google's webmaster/adsense tips. I've also tried to keep 'Dr HTML' happy to insure maximum usability (there's still problems in Netscape of course).

Also, if someone could kindly point me to a program or website to optimize GIF's I'd be very greatful. Right now my logo is a fairly large JPEG (at 24k, I believe), but the original GIF was 70k. I'd like to use the GIF format but it is impossible at that size.

The layout is nice .. use photoshop for the size thing, choose save for web option .. and adjust the settings, i hope that will work just fine .. very simple layout ..

What 'size thing' are you refering to? Originally the site was all Photoshop but I opted to use CSS to shrink it.

Not a fan of orange, but I like it. The gap between the top and the first section looks awkward though.
