Are you trying to find expired domain with many links ?

One great way to find them is to use "PAD" domains.

A pad domain is a domain that has been used to promote a shareware/freeware application and has been submitted to thousand of download sites that support pad files. Many of thise download sites still have links to the "old authors" domain, and that way the expired domains still have many links.

I have collected a list of 11000 pad domains, and have validated a few of them, and guess what there are many expired domains with many links and traffic.

I checked the list with AvailableDn.com , and registred nexrealm.com, dndware.com.

HINT: try to locate a domain that are listed in some of the top download sites , like dndware.com are listed in tucows and i expect many hits from that "i'm also a old software developer, and a tucows listing is gold "

Just unzip the attachment and validate the list!

A lot of those Names were not only not available but have never expired
optusnet.com.au not only never been available,
but is a Large ISP in Australia

Yes a lot of authors place there pad files on there ISP website , thats why they are also listed

BTW: There are only 160 left on the old list!
