How long after a domain expires will it become available for registration??

I think it ranges for 72-75 days, but I think it's 75 days from the Expire Date.

40 days in Expired
41 Days Redemption Period
69 Days Pending Delete
70-75 Locked for Deletion

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that is about right.

And that is the first point. Depending on who's the registrar and what they do
with them, it can take anywhere from 36 days to 72 days to eternity.

In addition, some registrars do NOT offer a redemption period.

In theory, a .com / .net registrar could request deletion the moment the domain expires; some ccTLDs have little to no grace period - when it expires, it's quickly deleted.
