I have a dot com domain that expired on 6 June yet it still resolves to the website... I haven't noticed that before - then again I never really checked, but since it has made me some money since it expired - am I missing something?

Some registrars change DNS while others do not. The majors found out that by editing DNS they get revenue from parking and also encourage the renewal.

Gotcha - it's the only domain I have at that registrar. I'm used to as you say - they switch it the second it expires.

A whopping 1.50 extra for me in this case - but not enough to make it worth renewing. :D
