Expiration date

i have a name that in tis registrar its expiration date is shown as march 2008 but when i search for the same info in a whois (i did it at moniker) the expiration date is oct 2008

could someone explain, please?

For instance, the Whois.sc expiration date for the domain says 10/'08 ... but the, for example, Enom Whois states 03/'08? Where is it registered? :blink:

it is reg'd at dot earth
i won it in a snapnames auction... then this registrar

i will renew it in march :hehe:

Yeah, I've been checking around a bit since my post above ... it may be that the domain name was originally registered in March, and then, for whatever reason, rescinded and put up for auction at Snapnames in December, IMHO. It's confusing as all heck (but go with the Registrar's expiration date)! :blink:

Definitely, definitely renew it ahead of the current March expiration, however! :music: :imho:
