Anyone have any experience dealing with any of these guys?

I have a good offer on a name from a broker at 62.com / ddd.com

The buyer wants to pay via USDT using the new vm.com platform.

My main concern is that DDD and VM seem to be the same people, or at least very close partners. And the terms of vm.com basically say I have to transfer my name to them (in order to tokenise it) and that they can delete my account or stop me from transacting for any reason without warning.

Obviously not an ideal situation :xf.laugh:

If anyone has dealt with any of these platforms I'd love to hear your experience. I've spoken with a few high level domain investors on Twitter and only one has dealt with DDD but not the VM platform.

Hello, I'm in a similar situation so I came to the forum to find an answer, I didn't realize you beat me to the question, haha!

I found some domains of interest at VM.COM, but I don't know much about this new platform yet, so I didn't use them for a while. Gathered some information though, hope it helps:

- As you can see on their X official tweet, DDD does have a partnership with VM: - Their registrar certification info:
https://www.icann.org/en/accredited-registrars?page=1&iana-number=3791&view-all=true
- Recently, the banana.com domain was also introduced to the VM.

All things considered, the platform is still credible. However, I still think it's a good idea to go ahead and try a small value transaction first, digital currency usdt is one of the most convenient ways for me to trade right now, tired of all the banking issues.

I'll share my experience with you after I try it out. I also hope others who have experienced it, share it.

I experienced the VM over the weekend, and bought a fairly cheap 4L domain at a one-bite price using Polygon chain's USDC (although the market price is quite a bit more expensive than elsewhere, but I can chat with the seller about the price, and I'm too lazy to spend time on it, so I just bought it directly). The whole buying process is quite smooth, after buying directly transferred to GoDaddy, a few minutes to get done, did not encounter any obstacles.

However, it should be noted that if you are not familiar with the operation of crypto wallets, it may be a little bit difficult. Because I don't have USDC on Polygon, I had to change USDT to USDC on TRON first, which I did by charging to Coinbase, changing USDT to USDC, and then mentioning it to the Polygon chain, which took some time.

After that, I tried to transfer a domain with a lower price, and the payment process was pretty much the same as the traditional way, and I still paid by direct transfer through the exchange.

All in all, for domain trading, the experience is more complicated than traditional platforms, but I still prefer to pay with cryptocurrency. Later there are transactions and then try it Escrow how.

Thank you for your feedback and sorry we are late. Regarding your questions, we will answer them one by one:

1. we are a new platform and do have a partnership with DDD.
2. Regarding the VM terms, we suggest you to check the preliminaries of the terms, we will never maliciously delete users' accounts or block users' transactions.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to leave a message in the post, we value every customer's voice!

Having read their website, X account, and related posts/accounts on this forum, I think it's all quite vague.

Hah, first of all, congratulations on completing your transaction with escrow.domains, they are indeed a great choice.

It looks like VM still has a lot of room for improvement, so I hope you'll keep checking us out and I'm sure it'll get better in the future!
