Back in October 2008, I decided to give iMonetize a try, so I moved some of my domains over, including one that has done quite well on Sedo and Parked. The traffic was about same as on the other services, but the overall revenue was a little better. According to their posted policies they pay 45 days after the end of the month. That is longer than most other services, but I am not concerned if they make me more money. At the end of Oct, I had over $100 in revenue, which I expected to be paid around Dec 15. First week of January, no check had arrived and no payment information had been posted to my account. I called and someone checked my account and said everything was in order and he didn't see why I wasn't paid. He then said he would have an account manager call me back either later that day or the next morning at the latest. I waited three days and received no call.

I then called again and a receptionist took a message. Still didn't get a return call. Then I found that a payment had been posted in my account that was about half of what my account had earned. I am getting really concerned now. While it appears that iMonetize is earning more, they may not actually pay you what you earned. I have called a couple of more times and can only get an answering service or receptionist who takes messaages. Calls are not returned.

I have opened a support ticket yesterday. At this point, I am assuming that the late payment and the underpayment is a mistake and related to this being my first payment for a new account. I really hope so.

Right now I am not sure if iMonetize is a really good parking service that everyone should give a try, or if they are struggling company that can't pay their bills, or worse yet, a scam. Sometimes you find out about how good a company really is by how they handle problems.

I am going to continue to give them the benefit of the doubt for a few more days. I will continue to post as this experience continues.

If anyone else has experience with iMonetize.com, good or bad, please post.

I called again today.

I still haven't received a call after I left a message last Thursday. I opened a support ticket on Friday and still haven't heard anything. I called back today, Monday 4:45 PM. The person who answered the phone said that no one had been in the office all day, and my message from last week was still on the desk and hadn't been picked up yet. This is not looking good. I will keep up updated. :|

Check arrived today

I did receive a check from iMonetize today, January 13, 2009. It is for October 2008 revenue and it is about half of what their website statistics show they owe me for that month. :td:

IMonetize has gone dark, no communications, late payments, and partial payment.

I still haven't received a return phone call from iMonetize since I left them messages over a week ago. I also sent them an email via the contact us form on their website. Today I submitted a support ticket through their website.

This is really bad. I should have done more research before I moved any domains over to iMonetize. For some reason, I trusted them. Did you just give up and let it go? Are you still trying to get them to pay you? I may have lost hundreds of dollars in revenue. I am not giving up! :yell:

Thanks, this good advice. Unfortunately, I have already wasted almost 4 months and hundreds of dollars in revenue. It looks like I might have to invest more time to get them to pay. I wish I had your advice before I moved domains to iMonetize!

Update - January 22, 2009 - I received a check from iMonetize today. I assume it was for November which is now due. The amount is significantly less than the revenue their website shows that my domains have earned, but is is a payment and it is better than nothing.

It's Feb 25, 2009, I still haven't received full payment for October 2008, Nov. 2008. I have received no payments at all for December or January. No explanation, no returned calls, no answers to support tickets. In my case it's not just a few cents either, and the traffic is known to be good, I have had these same domains on other parking services with no problems before. Most are on DomainSponsor now and doing fine. If iMonetize ever pays up and has an kind of decent explantaiton as to why they don't pay or return messages, then I will let you know.

Ahh, this sucks.

A little while ago I registered "I-Monetize.com" with a hyphen, thinking it would be a great blog domain on ppc tactics etc. Now its going to always be associated with this bad company.

Good luck to those dealing with them.

Dont bother yourself anymore with headaches and heartaches. Stay away if they're unstable, and you have experienced it first hand. Just go to Sedo, Google or Parked.

It is now April 11, iMonetize is still not paying. They paid partial for October and November. Those payments were very late and didn't come until I sent emails and called. They have paid nothing since. I have sent several emails, called multiple times, and opened 3 support tickets. The calls are answered by an answering service and all they will do is take a message. Calls are never returned. Emails are never answered, support tickets are ignored. I did get a one-liner response to a support ticket that said their were come claw-backs... This is complete BS because there is no way they clawed back 100% of the revenue. While my domains were parked with this company they were supposed to optimize and move the domains around to get the best payback. My domains were always actually parked with DomainSponsor the entire time had them parked with imonetize. I checked everyday. Since imonetize can't pay and they don't respond to any communications, I moved my domains to DomainSponsor to give them a shot. DomainSponsor has been great they have paid in full for every month. Since imonetize was actually parking my domains with DomainSponsor, and they were obviously getting paid for good traffic, the only conclusion that I can come to is that they were just pocketing my revenue. They owe me hundreds of dollars, and they are silent. Don't get burned by them like I did, and help your friends out and warn them not to ever use imonetize for anything. Also watch out for companies that maybe owned by the same person or company, I think Domainer Magazine is one of them.

Hi

I'm glad I was doing some research and discovered this post. I have kind of wondered
I have had about 31 domains parked over imonetize I choose them because I like their setup however i recently emailed them because I had sent my w9 form as the request
my account info still shows tax information not recieved I tried to email but my email keep getting sent back saying email can't be delivered I did call I got somebody on there support online and told him what was going on he said he look into it in the mean time gave me his email to send messages directly.
again the email worked but no reply

now I'm thinking of pulling my domains off of imonetize sad looks like a great platform
I'm now looking into namedrive, domain sponser, I can't use sedo because right now I have a free email provider which they don't take. any suggestions alot of people seem to like namedrive and domain sponser ?

Ok

Just a quick update I decided to pull all my domains out of imonetize.

:hi:

If you call SEDO and speak to someone there you should be able to
use your free email address.

They would have to manually input it.

I did just that with a Yahoo email address when I signed up.

My Yahoo email is a paid for business email address and I let the
Rep know that this is the email address I use.

I'm not suggesting you need a paid for address. It shouldn't make a difference.

I recently received a call from iMonetize and they are now working on my account problems. I had a great conversation with their CEO and I think he is honestly trying to find out what went wrong and correct the problems.

The issue is settled

After a conversation with the iMonetize CEO, and a few email exchanges; they have investigated the issues with my account and payments. I received a check today and they are sending the remaining payment this week. It is not quite the entire amount, but apparently there were some clawbacks against my account from some of the PPC providers. I don't really know why, but I don't have any reason to believe that iMonetize is the problem. iMonetize may have had some problems communicating what was going on, and why I wasn't receiving payments, but I don't think they were being dishonest in any way. In the end I think they have settled this in a fair way and I don't hold anything against them. :)
