experienced at most everything net-oriented EXC. forums, this one in partic. I tried PM'ing Jeff, but I guess he was 2 busy to respond. Maybe 1-a-U will "take me under your wing."

At this point, my only interest is in selling some domain names (of course, I'll probably develop new interests in a hurry.)

My concerns are these:

1) The name "auction" implies that this is a place where you actually put things up for sale.... What's "the neighborhood" like? If it's occasionally "fruitful," great; if others caution that there's much aggro., what alternatives do you recommend?

1a) As for the "other things for sale" forum sounds like if my only interest is in D.N.'s, I might be out of place, i.e., pointless to post there. True/false/comments?

2) I'm actually looking, too, for related "general" topics like brokers, auction sites, etc. Which area is best in that connection?

3) Any other general advice? I'm particularly looking for warning about anything "high risk." I guess, to be blunt, since some of my domain names could result in cease-&-desist letters, I wonder whether I'm pinning a "kick me" sign on my rear-end.

-Peter (pm me if you prefer)

P.S. Oh yes, PM'ing (a new pair of inits. for me, BION) -- I trust that means that I'll get e-mailed (or does it?) at the addr. I provided. One's privacy is/is not (pick one!) "guarded" pretty effectively?

Moved from "Auctions" to "Domain Name Discussion" board. You might find some answers to your questions in this forum instead.
