Has anyone noticed on Domaintools when you search for a domain it lists in the box at bottom right 'similar domains'?
You know it gives age too.

Well i just punched in a random domain (L-L-L.com) : F-C-O

Bottom right it gives me:

F-C-S 1996
F-C-N 1998
F-C-P 1998
F-C-R 1998

I mean sometyimes it gives all mid nineties, other times much later.
Its fun, you should try, just reminds you this is not a new concept, but then this devloped thread when finished & on bluebecker in its entireity will fully conclude that.

Here's something funny too, to show what people will reg:

Again, i've just done this and you will find all the time, i just typed in 'M-C-L.com' into Domaintools search bar.

Its incredible what businesses will reg and USE

Domainers have spent too long only considering the top echelon of names, thats cool and not a bad place to be, but by my reckoning these are the second notch as com too & a very well used notch, and a now sold out notch. :imho: :sold:

I don't mind at all, and it took me about 2 weeks. Still not finished though. Lots of testing to be done!

Can't wait for these stats, i have been saying all along a lot have been developed. Prob about 30% is my guesstimate & thats taking into account that prob 60% are owned by resellers!

These stats can only help L-L-L.com prices too, apart from obvious fact endusers can no longer handreg and will have to instantly come to aftermarket. Helps too a lot of registrars automatically show a searched domain as on sale at different platforms/venues too

I was going to start up again, but should I hold off if a script is being made? This will be a great thing to have the total number of developed. The number will just reinforce what we all have been trying to say all along...

Ok guys, I'll spill the beans

I told bluebecker a few days ago that I was writing this program, and I have a rough list right now of 4,236. I need to refine my method of categorizing as developed or not because I see a few in there that are not developed.

I plan on finishing this up today after work (i'm on the east coast united states, so work ends in about 5 hours).

I'll keep you all posted

ps: i'm also going to be running this against LLLL.com and LLL.in (as per bluebecker's suggestion) once it's more precise.
