Does anyone have an evaluation method they use to determine the value of two word domains (that are two standard english words) that do not include hyphens.
Adwords Searches
Overture Searches
Google web pages results (with quotes)
Advertisers going for the terms
Length! Number of words.
Most automated appraisal services fail below this line -----
Uniques per day.
PPC Its earning.
What is the trend of searches showing, up or down?
Ease to misspell the words.
Can you obtain the plural, .net, .org and .tld of any relevant country.
Keyword order (something almost all automated appraisal systems miss)
Industry your selling to (Ditto above, assume thats true for all of these)
Country your selling to, is it a national, international or regional name for instance.
Recent Sale Prices and Trends
How many names are still available to be registered that can perform the same function.
How much competition you have, even more importantly in the price range your looking to sell at
How old is the domain, for SEO purposes.
What have I missed, hmm:
Does the name make gramatical sense, is it brandable, is anyone advertising the term on tv, was it a previously existing website with backlinks, how much development has been done around the terms already (good sign) oh and one I often look for that so many people miss.
Can you see a way to sell the name? If not don't even bother registering it!
