Many of you will remember that there was an auction to raise money for ethan, which was a great success. The surgery he was due to have kept getting delayed, either due to the hospital or ethan not being well enough.

Finally Ethan has a date - 17th September.
He will be going into hospital on the 15th, have an MRI on the 16th, and have the surgery on his legs and hips on the 17th. The will be in hospital for 3 - 10 days depending on how well he recovers. I will keep you posted on his progress :)

Depending on how things go he will either be in a half body cast, then have intensive physio or have 6 weeks of intensive physio. Thanks to namepros and a charity called Cerebra, Ethan is going into hospital kitted up with a nice laptop to keep him busy :)

If anyone wants to send ethan a card wishing him well they can send it to

Ethan Allen
Surgical Ward
Aberdeen Royal Infirmary,
Foresterhill,
Aberdeen,
AB25 2ZN
SCOTLAND

alternatively, sigh his guest book http://ethanallen.info/guestbook/

Thanks :)

Just thought I would let you know that Ethan goes back to school tomorrow. He still isn't 100% so he is just going in for the mornings at the moment.
