This project was started to test our blog hosting system which we sell at http://turnkey-buddy.com - As usual we always test our products for a year or so and then sell the testing site(s). The site comes with an admin panel where you can delete individual blogs incl all posts and comments. There are currently a few spammers who use our service to promote their sites. We recommend to delete such blogs and to watch out for quality.
The site uses an ad revenue sharing program where members can enter their adsense ID. Ads are displayed 50/50 between the service provider and the users who own a blog.
The site is promoted and also listed in major directories such as DMOZ and other large ones. The site is currently a PR 4 site. The site is listed as demo site on our Turnkey Buddy store (if you wish we can remove the link)

Revenue Statistics: Assume none (1-4 $ a day)
As mentioned above, this site was a test site, so there are no ads on the site directly. Ads only show on the user blogs, but if that's changed you should be able to make more than we did as making money was not our idea.

Additional Notes: Requires a shared hosting account (dedicated server is always a plus) with access to mysql, mod_rewrite (.htaccess) and a wildcard DNS entry so all sub domains resolve at your main page. If required we can transfer the site to your hosting account / server. You will not have any resale rights for the script - we developed this script to sell it and this site is our testing / demo site (but of course mainly a live service). That said, you cannot resell the script, but a license (worth 175$) is included in this sale.
