Hello everyone, most of you may not know me. For some reason I have mainly been on the "other board" for a long time now. My name is Justin Godfrey aka Rockefeller and I wanted to let everyone know that my company, DIS Inc., launched a new online escrow service at EscrowDNS.com.

The company is insured and currently has several full time employees running the site. Our goal is to have all transactions completed within 24 hours with co-operation from both buyer and seller this is possible. Please give us a try and if you have any questions please feel free to PM me, email [email protected] or call us at (920) 254-8345. The customer service line is opened from 9am - 5pm Central time, Monday-Friday. We also have an on-call cellphone so support is also available during non business hours.

We'll be advertising here at this forum and at the upcoming conferences. We've had over 100 transactions so far and looking forward to doing business with all of you.

We are always looking to ease the use of our site, if you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Rock

What do you mean by promoters?
As in is it just you or are there other people with ownership interest in the company. viz. Insurance - I meant the name of the company is all.

We will know if the domain name is stolen or not on 99 out of 100 transactions.
This is extremely good to know, 99% I can live with.

we do offer paypal as a disbursement method though we have to deduct the paypal fee from the amount sent.
This is a major improvement in that case, but paypal fees are only charged when you receive money, not when you pay it. Plus most of the big guys who do pay by paypal use mass payment - so there is only ever a $1 fee for any transaction, which I personally would have no trouble paying.

So, I think this is going to be worth trying asap.

Congrats on the weddings.org sale btw, nice one.

Cheers!

The name of our insurance company is SECURA. We are ICA members and are pending a BBB accreditation. I am the sole owner of the company, though we have a dedicated staff of 3 employees that mainly run transactions. EscrowDNS is a subsidiary of Domain Investment Services Inc. (DIS Inc.), many of you may know the name. We purchase millions of dollars in domain names per year.

You're right, there are no fees when sending paypal, not sure what I was thinking. When we pay you via Paypal it will be sent masspay as well. ;)

Hello Justin,

Another lacking I recently found at escrow.com is that they asked

me to fax personal information for a small under $500 transaction purchase ...

I was already a customer of theirs on bigger transactions.

Will you do the same silly thing ?

No, the only time we ask for something to be faxed is for a credit card transaction. This is because we have to process the credit card on our end and need an authorization form to do that. Other than that, no.

Sorry I refuse to fax in a copy of any personal item in this day and age

for small transactions ... I will use other services.

You could also call in the information if you'd like.

That would be much better ... I wasn't given this option with escow.com even

when I told them that as a previous customer I would take my business

elsewhere. I did take my business elsewhere. I will certainly keep you in mind.

thanks ! :tu:

Basically right now we are switching credit card processors. There is a void area right now where paypal is processing our credit cards. On tuesday we will have our new terminal where we can take credit cards over the phone or online as we do right now.
