Hello everyone, most of you may not know me. For some reason I have mainly been on the "other board" for a long time now. My name is Justin Godfrey aka Rockefeller and I wanted to let everyone know that my company, DIS Inc., launched a new online escrow service at EscrowDNS.com.

The company is insured and currently has several full time employees running the site. Our goal is to have all transactions completed within 24 hours with co-operation from both buyer and seller this is possible. Please give us a try and if you have any questions please feel free to PM me, email [email protected] or call us at (920) 254-8345. The customer service line is opened from 9am - 5pm Central time, Monday-Friday. We also have an on-call cellphone so support is also available during non business hours.

We'll be advertising here at this forum and at the upcoming conferences. We've had over 100 transactions so far and looking forward to doing business with all of you.

We are always looking to ease the use of our site, if you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Rock

Hello Justin

Just a question regarding EscrowDNS,

I have reviewed your Term of Service and it states:
You agree that your use of our domain escrow services is at your sole risk. Our services are provided on a strictly "as is" basis. We do not provide any warranties.

Does this mean the escrow transaction is "as is" or am I insured in the case that something happens.

Regards,
AzN

As with any escrow transaction, including escrow.com, we protect both parties to the best of our ability. We cannot guarantee that the other party is not a scammer, but most scammers do not use an escrow service. With that being said, the only real way for something to go wrong with escrow is through paypal. We have different systems in place for credit card transactions, etc, so that a stolen card couldn't be used, but paypal is still the ugly duckling for both escrow.com and escrowdns.com.

If something were to go wrong with a paypal transaction, let's say a chargeback, we would cover all costs and nothing would happen to the seller. This is what our insurance is for. You're basically covered 100%. We are also rolling out a new paypal verification system to decrease this risk as well.

Hey Justin, welcome aboard. I'm 'mediawizard' at the other one.

I guess everyone already knows you and you need no introduction.

Nice to know about your company though, great to see it implemented... remember the discussion on it. Will be testing you guys soon :) :tu:

Some questions -
1. Who are the promoters and insurers?

Also - have you addressed the only things lacking in escrow.com:
2. Is there any verification process for stolen names?
3. Disbursement via Paypal ( I see you don't but if you can accept via paypal, why not be able to pay via paypal too?)

Welcome to Np Justin.
Thanks for posting the questions wmzd. I am a Doubting Thomas, and read thru all the pages on the site. I am sort of reserved due to the writing style and skill level to put my faith in it for now.
Does anyone has any experience with differentinvestments.com?
Hope you don't take this the wrong way Justin, I just like to be sure.
Business is business.
Good luck with it all, hope it works out for everyone.

What do you mean by promoters? Such as advertising, etc? Also, I am insured. I have several different companies and all are insured but if you want the name and account number I'm not going to post that here.

Also - have you addressed the only things lacking in escrow.com:
2. Is there any verification process for stolen names?

We monitor all of our transactions and we work hand in hand with the buyer and seller. We will know if the domain name is stolen or not on 99 out of 100 transactions. Sometimes we cannot catch it, just as people that are buying it cannot catch it but we do everything we can to stop stolen names from passing through our system.

3. Disbursement via Paypal ( I see you don't but if you can accept via paypal, why not be able to pay via paypal too?

Paypal is sort of the black sheep of payment method payments for online businesses. Everything is a risk with them...we do offer paypal as a disbursement method though we have to deduct the paypal fee from the amount sent. It can be arranged through support, just drop them an email if you'd like that as a disbursement method.

Yes, there were a few typos on the page. I have been working my developer to death lately...but everything is getting corrected. ;)

I just wanted to share this letter that I just received from a customer:

"Dear EscrowDNS,

I would like to thank your firm, especially ********** for the prompt and courteous service that I received during a recent transaction completed on August 22nd. There was a deadline that I was trying to meet and because of the high level of customer service provided by ****** and your firm, I was able to meet the deadline.

I would definitely recommend EscrowDNS' services for transactions and should the need arise; I will definitely use it in the future.

Sincerely,
XXXXXX XXXXXX"
