Escrow or PayPal

Hi Members

I have received an offer for one of my domain name for $5000. This will be my first domain name deal. Should I use Escrow or Paypal for the deal. Which would give me a better control over the deal(I mean buyer going back on deal or filing wrong dispute)
If you can provide the benefits and drawback for each i would be greatful.

Never heard of escrow as an online payment service, but i would have thought that paypal would be the better choice, considering so many people use it and is more popular and well known than the others.

Popularity of service doesn't help you here. With paypal is simply too big risk that person recieve your domain and then do chargeback, etc... and you can do nothing against that. Opposite escrow protect both parties. For better understanding:
