Eric Lyon is getting Married to Amanda Meyer (Soon to be: Amanda Lyon)

Late notice, I know... June 13th is tomorrow. Nothing big, just a small private wedding (Traditional) at a local family church followed by a private wedding party afterwords (Private undisclosed location). Just wanted you all to hear it first from me. I'll take pictures and post some in this thread (Hopefully tomorrow night). I plan on having the mohawk up for the whole thing (FUN)!

P.s. sorry to disappoint, but I couldn't get the mohawk to stay up with the spray I had so I ended up just doing a small shark fin. I'll get the stronger hold stuff to have the full mohawk for the next Namescon convention

Correct, cutting cake in style with a meat cleaver .. We had a friend of Amanda's make the cake for us and i agree... EPIC cake & cutter choice!

Congrats to the new couple. You chose an excellent day to get married. Here in Portugal June 13th is St Antony of Padua's day. (He died in Padua, Italy but he was born in Lisbon) He is the Patron saint of the city of Lisbon and huge celebrations take place on this day and all night long.

He is considered an excellent match maker with an ability to reconciling angry couples. Every year the Lisbon City Council chooses e few dozen couples with financial hardships, and gives them a free wedding with all expenses paid including the wedding dresses and suits for brides and grooms. Also free is the photo album and video DVD as well as the party

This unique and traditional ceremony takes place at St. Anthony's church in Lisbon, followed by a photo/video session and then the party, usually in a castle.

Ha.. You have to love the reflections on windows... :P

On another Note, we got here a bit late, ate down on Decatur street (had an Italian sandwich at Frank's), had desert at cafe' du monde, checked out a spider chopper, checked out the ocean, and walked up & down Decatur a little.
