Agree. I love my $8.95 Enom Reseller account ... though there seems to be a bit of a "maintenance" issue over there today/tonight for some reason. :o
What do you have, $8.95 as well? I was thinking about perhaps puchasing a $7.95 account ... maybe.
Thanks.

Rackshack $5 deal is a limited time loss leader to bring in new customers. Only a matter of time. Moreover, you can't renew for more than a year at that price, AFAIK. And don't forget it's a end-user account, not a reseller account.

All renewals will be $10+ for sure.

I'm also on an $8.95 enom account. Normally, I'd shy away from cheaper registrars for fear that there would be less service. But in enom's case, it doesn't matter whether you have a $6/7/8/9.95 account, as enom probably gets about the same out of each reg, and the underlying technology is the same.

With my domains quickly accumulating, I'm already at that point where purchasing a $7.95 is cost-effective, and a $6.95 account is tempting. Anyone have extras of these to sell?

That last point is a VERY good one to keep in mind, IMHO.
I don't plan on using RackShack in this most recent promotion ... but at $5.41 (including tax), I can see why people would. Nuffin' personal, I just really like my Enom Reseller account, plus it's "familiar", easy to use and manage, URL Forwardng, etc.
Have a great domain night. :)

You should be able to do this (later "pull" away and in to Enom), as that first year comes to an end ... and just pay the annual Enom renewal/registration fee from there on out. That would be a good strategy to multiple-year registrations, IMO (particularly if RackShack goes to $10+ after the first year).

I'm listening along with you, Armstrong ... though I'm not sure if my math quite works out to obtaining the $6.95 Account (yet). I'm borderline $7.95 now, and could probably save a bit going forward with one ... paying say, $22.50 - $35.00 for the $7.95 Account, generally?
Thanks.

I have seen most 7.95 go for $20.. so it's a steal.. it's cheaper than any other place (besides rackshack) and doesn't cost as much as the 6.95 ;)

redhippo, GCgirl was referring to purchasing a $7.95 eNom reseller account for $20. She's saying that $7.95 is cheaper to register names than other places and that a $7.95 account doesn't cost nearly as much as a $6.95 account (which usually goes for over $300)
Hope that helps.

man i am bit thick in the head, your explaination
is no clearer as i have no experience with resellers accounts.
why would a 7.95 a/c cost $20.00?
and why would a 6.00 a/c go for 300.00?

for 7.95 reseller account, you can only register domain as low as 7.95 per domain, for those 6.95 acc, you can register a domain for only 6.95, so the math is you can save like $1 per domain, if u register 100 of them, then u save $100, that's the reason why people sell 6.95 more then 7.95 account, hope you understand what i mean, lol

I personally use Rackshack.net for domains that I do not need redirection. Their price at $5.41 (tax included) is unbeatable, especially when I am digging up domains to sell and I do not know the potential value of a domain (That is, I don't want to spend too much money on a domain that is worthless to others, but meant something to me when I first registered it).

are they any other charges?
what are the transfer fees?

what happens after your purchase?
do you park with them? fees?

I'm loving Rackshack's $5.41 offer. I've registered quite a few with them so far.

There are no other charges, and ownership transfer is free.
