Enom Retail Accounts

I thought I would ask this question since it does deal with domain names, how much are $8.14 Retail Enom Accounts really worth? I see many people selling them and etc, but in your opinion how much would you pay for such a retail account?

As has been said before they are pretty common, most people with a $6.95 account will create one for you for free as they will get a ( small ) cut of every domain you register through them .... Really means money for very little work as all they have to do is set it up.

Coming from another angle.

They are not worth paying for BUT are worth having.


i.e. Go and get one ! eNom are highly regarded and its still a lower price than most.
I come accross clients regularly still paying $15 or so for domains at prehistoric registrars. It takes no time at all to set them up with an eNom account for $8.95 (which is probably industry average) . I make 70 censt per each subsequent registration of theirs and they save $6.00 odd... Everyone is happy.

If you go on ebay you can secure a $6.95 reseller account.

Upside-

-This enables you to register domains yourself at that price.
-You can transfer your other names in/renew them at $6.95.
-You can also register them for friends, family and clients for that price and push the name ownership over to them.
-With this reseller account you will be able to create accounts for others at $8.14 (breakeven is $6.95+eNom costs) and above as we have been talking about.
-You can easily set up your own domain registering company using their back-end.

Downside-

-It will cost you about $100-175 from ebay.
-You have to add $100 to use it and then maintain a postive balance from then on. (you can refil your account via paypal)

If you intend to register, renew a lot of names (150+) then I'd recommend a reseller account.
