ive reged a domain about 24 houers ago now, when trying to park it at sedo i get the error "The domain name you were trying to add to our database is currently not registered. Please wait until the registration process has been completed!"

do i just need to wate a bit longer?

Yeah. It can sometimes take up to 48hrs so give it a bit longer.

Don't worry Qbert, the .com & .net registry will be updated early next month to stay up to date with the industry along with such extension as .info, .org etc.. The current update time can take up to 48 hours where as some of the newe extensions can take minutes depending on the registrar. Heres a bried from a 3rd party source, (no affiliation) http://thewhir.com/marketwatch/ver071204.cfm I believe this update is necessary especially for .com being the most popular and most used extension ever.
