I dunno Miller, just re-upped movieoftheweek.tv for 2 years(until 6/2010) and total was 49.90(24.95 per).
I buy my domain names from me.tv. Is there a difference?

Well i dunno - but i am at enom.tv and when i reg it automatically goes to two years, but if i change the cart to one year the price shows $49.95..just before you hit the coonfirm purchase button.......

Hmmm, this sounds like a problem that has been covered here before. I do buy from me.tv so am not familiar with enom pricing except for renewal I just did. Anyone else?

Channelme.tv

It is still only $24.95 per year if you do it through thewww.channelMe.tv website , which is www>enom.tv anyway.

Yep - using your same a/c ID it doesn't matter if you go enom.tv or enomcentral.com or enom.com - it will be the same price.

Millers - Suggest you change the Years to 1 (which you are doing) and then press "update cart" button. This will then change to $24.95 and then click "checkout".

isnt it ridiculous.......very poor customer service..,.....i just found out that i have had about 20 names auto renew at 49.95 for one year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

needless to say i am fuming.....not even aware of this price change....am waiting for a refund...spoke to customer service - they will see what they can do......guy i spoke to sounded genuinely concerned...will see what happens tomorrow

so now i will have to move all my names coming up for renewal to a different account under the enom umbrella.........why do i get the feeling that they are pissing down on me!!

And under Settings it reads:

"By default, domains will be registered, hosted, and renewed for [1] year(s)"

needs to be changed to 1 year because their default is 2 years

Sorry I missed this thread.

Enom extend this pricing till March 31, 2008. This means you can register, renew or transfer at this amount. I can only assure you that NeedName.com will always offer below channelme.tv or enom.tv pricing.

Cheers and reps on the way.

You can renew your domain name through needname.com, all you have to do is create your account with needname.com, push your .tv from me to needname.com and enjoy the low cost management of .TV

If you have questions, please don't hesitate to let me know. I can also be reach direct to emil @king.net

Cheers,

Its not a glitch Micro. As I posted above, eNom default Settings are for 2 years and you need to change it to 1 year, otherwise if you are set for autorenew and you haven't changed your settings to 1 year, you will be renewed and charged for 2 years.

I believe Millers indicated above that he was charged $49.95 per year on 20 domain renewals?

Yes - you are correct - thats what he said.

Millers - were you renewed for 1 year or 2 years?

Not with me...i know about the auto two year setting - but even when I change it to 1 year the price stays at 49.95....seriously.....!!

I think kinda understand this issue. When an account was created with $49.95, this will not be automatically re-adjusted to current pricing of $24.95. You need to contact your registrar, in this case enom. During the promo period, new account will only get the new pricing.

Hope this help.
