eNom n00b question

I'm a COMPLETE domain n00b. I need to know how to get started with an enom domain name. Got the domain, what do i do :P

Nick, What do you want to be able to do?

Do you have a server if yes do you want to set your nameservers? if yes follow these instructions

In your account click on your domain name in the next window you will see DNS SERVER to set to your custom server click configure, then add in your nameservers

ex: NS1.namepros.com
NS2.Namepros.com

If you do not have a nameserver i would suggest you get some hosting for your domain, If you need some space let me know i can hook you up.

If you just wanted to have your domain point to another website already online just click the DNS SEVER area again and make sure the nameservers are set to

dns1.name-services.com
dns2.name-services.com
dns3.name-services.com
dns4.name-services.com

after ensuring these are set then just go to DNS SETTINGS (FILE ZONE)

and set these

* (other) URL www.(whateversiteyouwanttopointtoo.com)
@ (none) URL www.(whateversiteyouwanttopointtoo.com)
www URL www.(whateversiteyouwanttopointtoo.com)

I keep gettin "Page can not be found" when I try to go to nickmade.com I have everything set and checked the links. This is wierd

You need to allow at least 24hrs for domain name to propagate

And so as any changes to nameservers, those will also take a whole day to refresh

I figured that out on the help section in enom just a while ago. It says you might have to wait 48 hours! I hope they get it done faster than that :P Thanks, though!

yeah in fact it can even take up to 72 hours, but usually sometime between 24 and 48...
