Great name. I was in on this auction and in my opinion this is the second-best domain I've seen expire in the last 2 months (#1 goes to sentimental.com).

On this thread there were 4 of us in the auction for eNEW.com ...

ambet got a nice deal -- he won the name right around reseller value. If my pockets were a tad deeper I would have upped the stakes a little more

I would have to agree with "ridiculously brandable." I wasn't bidding the amounts that I was just so I can sell it for $500 extra. Wait for the right offer and do not settle for less than high x,xxx and try to even get five digits. Always mention that the name could be just as big as ebay

I am new to domaining and I was trying like crazy to get it last week. I put in a bid on SnapName to buy it at the same time I was trying to get it through GoDaddy. Good catch I am sure after read the reviews.

After I contacted Great Domains (of SEDO), that's what they answered to me about eNEW.com :

Thank you for the e-mail. After speaking with the brokerage team, the maximum allowable reserve for eNew.com would be $9,999 in auction. However, if you decide that this type of reserve would be acceptable, please let me know, and I would be happy to list the name in the next premium auction.

In a way yes, they are implying what is and is not reasonable value on the domain. For example, they would not allow a domain like amazingcomputermonitors4u to have the same reserve as eNew would.
