hi guys,
i'm just wondering how weird the spelling 'encyclopaedia' seems in different places in the world, especially in the us. it seems pretty normal in the uk/ australia/ new zealand?
i'm sure 'encyclopedia' is more used (heaps more google results). but i see 'encyclopaedia' is in US dictionaries (although namepros picks it up as a typo). perhaps it gets occasional use? or it has an old worlde charm to it?
i guess i need to know if you saw something like:
www.musicencyclopaedia.com (someone's parked page btw - i just chose that name at random)
would you remember it? would it be too weird for you to trust/ click it? or any other thoughts. it would lose traffic to the US spelling.
i'm no worried about SEO as it's a brandable name i'm thinking of...
thanks in advance.
(after typing it so much encyclopaedia/ encyclopedia both seem weird to me)
:p
