Appraisals? Thoughts?

The domain is optimized for a marketing/adveritising niche namely Medical Marketing. Further optimization can be made for online or geographical demographics.

My offers are currently coming near 8,000 each. I think both domains emedicalmarketing and e-medicalmarketing are the next best thing right next to medicalmarketing.com which appraises electronically for about 28,000, asking price on it is 50K. As of last year the medical marketing business is booming and I'm wondering if I should hold on longer or sell, being that I was hoping to use the cash inflow for office equipment. Another question is whether I should market the domains separately or as a package, with the possibility of trademarking/branding?

Maybe I am missing something here. But if anyone offered me $8000 each for these two, the money would already be in my account. I could be wrong, I have been before, but I dont see the value in these. Good luck anyway.

It was a very good business for almost 7 years, so it's kind of my "baby." I only own a few domains, not for cybersquatting, so maybe that's what it is. I put the domain up on the market 2 months ago. If they're up to 8K each, it'd be nice to know if there's a possibility to make some more. Not a bad deal for a few hrs of marketing a month.

He says he has offers near 8000 already if the offers are at Sedo and you are only asking 9000 you should push them to auction with these bids.

When you're in a niche business long enough, such domains are like prime real estate, and with nothing left out there with "medicalmarketing" in the domain name, and a legitimate business (not cash parking squatter) wants to target a broad audience as an addition to an already established medical marketing business, they offer a bid. Real value is in the eye of the beholder, right? At these public auctions with people not knowledgeable about medical marketing, like "jdenwar" for example, they wouldn't go past a reg fee. But I'd like to find someone who appraises domains manually taking research and the marketplace into consideration, not just google results. Are there such resources? Thanks for all the responses, you guys are great.

I myself am relatively new to domain values but I would just like to point out that there are members here with vast experience in this field. Nearly all of these probably fall in to your "Cash parking squatter" category. This statement sounds as though you think there is some higher, more reputable category of domainers ? Myself , I think it is disrespectful of many people who are operating in a quite legitimate business. DOMAINING.

No offense doctor but I agree with what everyone has said above. Unless an enduser contacts you and is offering up the $$$$ it will be hard to sell those for more than a few hundred. Now if you had done your due diligence on those names you would know that there are a few established companies out there that would be perfect candidates for your domains:

ElectiveMedicalMarketing.com
EliteMedicalMarketing.com
EvolveMedicalMarketing.com
ExpertMedicalMarketing.com

If I were you I would contact them via email on Monday, tell them your accepting offers at Sedo and provide them with a link.

Cheers

Hey, 4 more contacts, Thanks BGMV! Although in my primary research and contact I was targeting companies with over 500,000 in revenue/year. You never know, the ones you mentioned might want to expand. Thanks!
