Email from GoDaddy re domain expiry?

Have 3 emails in my junk mail from '[email protected]' subject title 'Your account within a month' - saying it is a renewal notice and 'the domain name below is set to renew manually - if you do not log in to your account and renew they will expire'.

So I logged into my account, NOT through the link in this email of course just in case.

The domains mentioned expire in May and June next year, not within a month. Also, these particular domains are set to auto-renew.

Anyone know anything about this?

Seems its not just me. Was also my numerics that were targetted. Something to watch out for.

yep, we are all receiving this. I also sent a complaint to [email protected] a couple of weeks ago. It seems they do not care at all to stop this phishing business
