[PROXUS]

I registered eLUXURY.us and found out from my wife that there is very popular site with .com extension, selling fasion stuff. I read through their legal terms of the site which says:

eLUXURY is a Trademark of eLUXURY.com, Inc.. All other trademarks, product names, and company names and logos appearing on the eLUXURY web site are the property of their respective owners. Please refer to the legal notice for terms of use.

....also I found that other sites:
eLUXURY.net
eLUXURY.org
eLUXURY.biz
eLUXURY.info
are not owned by eLUXURY.com, Inc.

I think that they don't have legal grounds to request that domain especially that I didn't intended to set ant fashion related business.

What do you think?

I dont see any problem at all IF you stay away from their line of business.

It is a TM term - I would think they would have grounds to mess with you .......... IMO - Not saying they will , just that they have grounds to do so !

they have some rights, but you shouldnt have a problem

they will wait until any of those developed domains get bigger then they will sue you...

Their trademark allows them to come after you whenever you want. So that fact will always hang over the domain and lower its value.
