Well, what does the panel think of this domain name that would be used for information on "wifi hotspots"? You know, places like coffee shops, etc. I read a recent PC article saying these "hotspots" will be increasing substantially.

In order to give a fair accessment of the possible price for this domain, please note this snippit taken from a current wireless website:

"Recent international surveys indicated that 84% of respondents would use hotpots if they were available. Gartner figures indicate there are about 9.3 million mobile roamers globally, having shot up from 2.5 million in the year since WiFi technology was introduced. The number of mobile roamers is projected at 130 million by 2007, when the ratio of notebook sales to desktop computers is expected to be 2:1.

Wireless G says these statistics are bound to translate into a demand for a worldwide network of hotspots.

Establishing venues such as hotels, airports and service stations as hotspots will effectively make each venue a telecommunications provider, together forming a new telecommunications network."

Thanks guys and gals!

Taking your info into consideration, the domain may have more value once developed

until then the "e" and .net are weighing it down slightly-
because -

After a quick search, I found that ehotspot.com is currently for sale...

Good Luck

Comments:

The "e" messes up the name and doesnt fit with it. Hot spot can be used as the "hot spot" of a volcanoe information site or maybe the "hot spot" as in the cool hang out. Or even an adult meaning.

The name has a lot of potential but the "e" still doesnt help it out any.

Wholesale:

$5-15

End-User:

$30-$100

Leads:

http://www.ehotspot.co.uk/

An established company that may be interested in the .net domain.

Good Luck :tu:

agree about the development potential. The 'e' and .net do bother me, as well. Value at reseller level is about $15, undeveloped.

No problem-o

No offense taken Jane. I would have love to aquire : hotspot.com or hotspots.com, but there both taken by some VERY large web sites.
So, I thought the next best thing would be to use the "e" in front as some other large websites have done.

I would also say reg fee, the "e" to me still works with "word" Domains and mostly in the .com as the examples you used. It doesnt work with every "word" mind you.
