The .com sold for $7k because it was .com

Regging weak extensions will not help you in domaining, even with strong keywords

Try and focus on .com when starting out.

That much I figured, but I'm honestly not asking much for each. I'd be happy with anything above the cost really.

You want a domainer to buy from you or an end-user?

Giles is right. The FPS name might get some typo traffic (.co instead of .com) but in general names not worth much=harder to resell.

I've named my cat dotcom just to mentain my focus on......you figure the rest.:xf.wink:

Giles - I'm not sure. I'm trying to figure that out. I really am in this for the long haul...just need to get off the ground a bit here. They are hand registered by me.

Does estibot matter? I seem to be pulling some pretty high numbers from there for the fpsgames.co and the dividendstocks.us

Never use Estibot for appraisals

End-users just aren't interested in .us, .xyz etc...stick to .com and strong cctld's

No domain is worth anything just because Estibot says it is. Completely ignore any automated appraisal.

Well I didnt mean it was explicitly worth a ton, but I always thought if a domain shows a good appraisal number it's a good start.

I see...but who is though? Because I do see some pretty decent sales on flippa, godaddy, namejet etc for .us, .co, .xyz, etc

.xyz is good for china buyers

Makes sense. So I take it I have to reach out to different groups of buyers? Cause I can't seem to pick and choose who I want on flippa etc.

these extensions are doing good with one single clear word..no many sales for the 2 words with these extensions unless the two words are getting high search average and very common words...good luck

Hmm...I understand. Fps (frames per second) (first person shooter) games they seem pretty high search. Vidoegames are huge. And dividend and stocks are pretty high search. Frustrating, but that makes sense.

The domains I've been trying to sell are fpsgames.co and dividendstocks.us

yes your domains have a clear meaning but what i meant by high search average the very high search average like the words (forex trading) these terms are getting more than 100k search average or (stock photo) something like that..but again your domains make sense but appraising domains is a very hard mission in domains industry but since you said that you expect any thing above the cost then probably your best choice is to flipp them.. put them on auction to see what will happen...good luck

A domain can have high search volume but if its in an extensions that end-users dont want, it just wont sell, its more likely to sell to a domainer, who we all know dont like spending money :xf.wink:
