Just read that the premium one word domain (LLLL too) has been sold by Sedo for $140k. Nice sale, but seems like....well, what do you think of the price?

Sedo broker, Frank Tillmanns announced the sale of the premium, aged domain Edit.com for $140,000 dollars earlier today.

The sales price surpassed an $120,000 dollar bid it had received during the latest GreatDomains auction.

Along with that sale, Tillmanns announced the sale of the three letter .com domain, KUL.com for 35,000 EUR (almost $43,000 dollars.)

Both are good obviously but I think Star is better. So much more you could do with it brand wise. Would have thought it would have sold for more - both of these have gone for much lower than I would have expected.

They are not quite comparable. Star is generally much valuable word than Edit. Edit is good for a photo app and ... not sure what else. Star can be used pretty much for everything, from astronomy to contests. Star.com would be 20 to 100 times more valuable than edit.com, so its .org being sold slightly higher is not surprising.

The deal is not good enough imo it could be much more higher than current sale price. That name has two most popular quality even its a single dictionary word but along with only 4L too.
