Considering the political positioning and changes that some will invariably have to make, what value would you place on this domain.

hold on to it. Could be worth a lot more around the presidential elections. The candidates stance on eco-political issues will be a pretty important factor.

As with most fresh regs the value is in development into a useful website.
That said, a great site could be built around an interactive map of the world from which people could learn about the ecological efforts of various governments of the world.
