Yep but for them its good because they only care about their pockets. I mean, its a business so the goal is to maximize their profits. The problem is the conflict of interest and that they are literally screwing their potential long term customers for short term gains. Lets see what happens in 2-3 years from now when many go out of business because of overpaying. While reseller and acquisition prices keep increasing, end user prices have not. I don't see their business model sustainable but i could be wrong of course.

Media Options we know had made decent money in crypto, reasonreason is from China and probably has a nice backing from somebody. A battle of the egos, I am sure the other is going to think they are sticking into to each other.

I have been on dropcatch for a while, I have seen many things, spent to much on some, the bidding is fierce, I do have a big budget, but Iโ€™m not into paying end user and then some pricing on wholesale drops.

I was given a big refund for the fake bids of wittynut a few months back.

the bidder UNDEVELOPED is anyway connected to the landing page site, guess not? Western/Chinese?

Yes, Arca is the man to ask for that, great knowledge of that platform, and users, would be kind of obvious, but great advertising.

You never know sometimes the biggest names sit for the longest, and one day the owner has an itch, or another deal, or an ex wife to pay off, and they take the loss.

Many times I have lost domains in auction, and bought them back cheaper years down the road.

I've never seen that bid handle at DropCatch before and I'm not sure who is behind it. They're not active bidders on a regular basis at least. They didn't backorder the domain either, and first bid from them came in at $40K. So possibly a newly created account made for bidding on this name.

With the seeming reference to the "undeveloped" marketplace I guess it's more likely they're a domainer (rather than an end user) who signed up to bid. There are bidders on most platforms with handles referencing hugedomains, flippa, snapnames etc., that are not connected to these marketplaces in any way, and I guess it's more likely that someone is just playing that kind of game here, rather than undeveloped.com being behind the bid handle.

Thanks for the insights. Appreciated (y)

3 way dog fight, I want to see reasonreason win, and have to eat it, pushing to $60K soon.

I would prefer for a fake bidder to win and not pay so it gets reauctioned. Less funding to be used against domainers by HD...

Any profitable domainer would stay away at this point imo. Nobody knows who โ€œundevelopedโ€ is or if he/she intends to pay. Could be a legit bidder but what if it isnโ€™t...

Looks like Undeveloped wants it bad, and reasonreason taxed him nicely.

$71,938

Winner: UNDEVELOPED

Let's see if he pays or if it's another shill auction in Dropcatch.com

Buyers have 4 days to pay for a won domain.

The domain is still under DropCatch's ownership (hasn't been paid for yet).

Not surprised. Saw it coming... Unless he/she received more time to make payment, which wouldnโ€™t surprise me either..

Too early to tell. No doubt more time is needed than 4 days to wire 75k across the planet.
