Hay eBay, why not lower listing pricesx if you can just throw away 415M on a domain worth about 1% of that.

That is not $415m for domain ... they paid this price for the whole rent.com business I think ... that's not a lot since they say "Rent.com has annual sales of about $40m and was launched in 2001".

It has a lot of potential and eBay is maybe THE company which will be able to make big $$$ with this kind of potential.

Sales and revenue are 2 very different things - Turnover may be $40m but actual revenue may be far less than that.
