I don't buy a lot of domains on ebay but I bought a couple around 48 hours ago.

As yet neither seller has contacted me or pushed the domain to me despite me paying immediately after the auction.
These are sellers with 500+ positive feedback.

Are ebay domain sellers always slackers? :alien:

Well I guess I should wait 72 hours before getting worried ;)

Yes just contacted them again. They have good feedback so Im guessing they are just slow, still it gets ya worried when you spend a fair bit!

I've bought and sold dozens of LLLL.com domains on eBay in the last few months. Got worried on one of my first buys when didn't hear from the seller for over a day after winning several of their auctions (for cheap) and paying right away ... But they followed up I think within 48 hours - and let me know I had given them the wrong email address to transfer the domains ... Problem solved, but I was wondering if I had been scammed for a worried day or two ....

I have heard that it's always a good idea to take a closer at "high feedback" scores - these can be pumped up via low-value transactions (ie, 2 cent e-books) ...

I stick pretty much with trading LLLL.com domains on eBay - there are a few sellers in that area on eBay who are also active on NP as well. Fast delivery has been the norm in my experience dealing with these folks.

Well, got one of them.
But he sends the transfer request to my ebay email address instead of the one i gave him.

It's godaddy and it actually still worked... isn't that a little insecure?
Seems you can send the transfer request to the wrong email and if you know the authorization codes you'll get the domain regardless if it was intended for your account.

Just another reason I dont use GD by choice :)

Yes, good idea to double check feedback. You can now click on their feedback score and once on the feedback page, sort by Feedback as a Buyer, and Feedback as a Seller. I was about to do business with someone who seemed to have a high feedback score, but once I checked, most of that was for Feedback as a Buyer ( and pretty low-rent items at that). Not to say they weren't trustworthy, but the feedback just wasn't what it first appeared.
