When I search for a domain at Dynadot.com, I see sometimes see premium domain for sale.

If I click on it, it brings me to dynadot shopping cart for me to check out.

Would the premium domain be mine right away once I check out from dynadot?

The domain costs couple thousand dollars that is suitable for my business.

I just fear that once I spend that amount and the sale doesn't go through, I'll get "thousand dollar credit" in my dynadot account (which I don't want).

Anyone here buy premium domain from dynadot.com?

I know that domains listed at Afternic with 'Expanded' or better promotion get listed at Dynadot and some other venues as premium domains. I have a few listed there myself. Hopefully you want one of mine :p

The seller should be obligated to sell at that price if you click Buy Now. Trouble is, some sellers forget to remove the domains once sold elsewhere so you might be out of luck.

If it is via Afternic, you could try searching for the name there and viewing the seller's other domains. If they have others for sale and the whois matches, I would say go for it but I'd also contact Dynadot to find out refund policy if sale unsuccessful.

Thanks WORDSWORTH!

I went to afternic instead, searched for the domain, found it, and purchased it.

I hope that it goes through.

I need that name for new business that I'm setting up.

The last time I bought a premium domain there was an auction lock of 2 months I believe.

I think there is a difference between the expired section, and premium section.

The expired section are domains that are on Dynadot that have expired, and are being auctioned.

There is a 3+ day grace period for the original registrant to renew, then a 30 day auction lock period.

I paid the money, but the name is going to expire in a week.

No response from seller (Enom)

Getting nervous lol

I've also never done afternic transaction before.

There is no section in the escrow where I can write my enom.com's username for them to transfer the name to my account.

I bought a domain from Enom via Afternic not that long ago and the transfer took forever (almost 2 weeks).

Instead of even asking for an Enom account to push to they just created a new account and pushed the domain there.
