Thanks that is very useful, what would the reason be for the 'at least 10%'? Is that due to selling fees, or lower value of the domain itself?

The reason I am now looking is I had a legit offer of $1000 USD, but I thought I'd check its current value before going ahead and selling at that price.

Yes I should've included my reasoning for the 10%, which was just my rough estimate considering the pattern of the other domain with a repeat letter which might attract more bidders.

Also this would be a reseller price. $1000 is far too low IMO below current fair market value, whereas $2000 would still be considered fair and reasonable, again IMHO.

Who your buyer is and where the offer was made (on this forum?) will factor in also.

Bottom line, $1500 - $2000 reseller, favoring the high end

The offer was someone from Canada that contacted me via email wanting the domain for an SEO project.

Someone else here has also just messaged me offering $1K, but from what you've said I think I'd be selling low if I were to let it go for that price.

Also you might be careful about appraisals here, as a savvy buyer could potentially search your domain and discover this thread.

But $1k is too low, yes. For a serious buyer you can easily ask considerably higher, and have backup buyers if the email inquirer backs away.

Thanks, I guess I'll look at listing it up for sale here. Had a couple of offers < $1500 but I think I'll try sell in the $1500-2000 range.

Yeah there are a few existing NZ entities that it could appeal to, and obviously anything DW New Zealand (Data Warehouse, Design Warehouse etc.) in the future. But I think I'm happy to cash out and move on.

Have you heard of the word chips before?,I can hear you say "yes", then, good, study and follow the price trend. Currently 1500-2500.
Ending with NZ, another plus. Good success.
