I own dubs.ca, received an offer for it today.. what do you guys think its worth? perfect for a canadian/north american customized rim/body/car shop.. this is what he intends to do with it, a friend told me low xxx$ and theres no way in hell id let it go that low.. can someone give their input? im thinkin mid to low xxxx$ if he was serious about it. (20 inch rims are usually called DUBS, or pretty much any large size rims id say) 4 letter domain.. etc... thanks

dubs.ca

I would personally sell it for low XXX as the market for that name is very thin to the best of my knowledge (which is not extensive in that industry at all).
That said this appears to be an end-user for the name.
My advice is spend a few minutes and research the canadian market for dubs and look at all the other 'dub' sites. Get a feel for the end-users appreciation of the value of DNs as they may require some education.
I have learned though that the canadian market is very small relative to the global appeal of .com.
My thoughts anyhow.

I agree, xxx's for the domain. If your offer was that high, I'd take it. Brandability for the Canadian market isn't too great. It's possible to push it as a site in California as the market there will obviously be much better for dubs. There are as many people in CA as there are in Canada and I bet about ten-fold more own vehicles with dubs ;)

Around $100, .CA are very hard to sell.
