There was a Dubai domain name auction on eBay recently that reached $600,000 but I'm pretty sure the bids were faked, shilled or something.

King Abdullah Economic City - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Some project funded by a Dubai company. I don't know anything about it. As I say I'm pretty sure the bids are fake.

Yeah, I dont think you ever see domains sell on ebay for decent amounts, a lot of fake bids though

I suppose thats the problem with ebay, your never quite sure its all legit. Shame cos it cool be a really usefull place to sell.
